summer learning journey(part 2)

here in my home town/Auckland there are a lot of beautiful beaches like coromandle/hot water beach and a lot of big green fields and than there is tall buildings in the city bit of Auckland. also heaps of arcades like extreme I like going there because if you save some tickets and get you some really cool prizes I love my city because my family lives every where and I can go see some new places because I still need to see most of my beautiful home city I hope you enjoyed this blog post my task was to talk about my home town

summer learning journey(part 1)

On Friday I had a task it was to give facts about new Zealand. I read the facts from fun facts about New Zealand here is the link just in case you would like to see some other facts. about my wonderful island so here is my facts that I got from that link. this is one of the ones that I did not know about new  Zealand(Compared the last one with Unite stat of America ) was that it was once governed as part of the territory of New south wales and later part of Australia. my next fact is that you have to drive on the left side of the road. it is different to USA they have to drive on the right side of the road and my last fact is that the Maori name of New Zealand is Aotearoa which means the land of the long white cloud. I hope you enjoyed my three facts about New Zealand

Me and hopa's art project

here is a snowman that me and my friend Hopa made it was a little bit hard to make it but at the end it broke because Hopa dropped it and it smashed but it is okay because at least we got a photo of it. in the beginning we started of with a house then someone chucked it in the bin so then we had to start again but Mr Wiseman said that we had to start on clay so then we made a Christmas box but then we changed our minds and then that is how we got to make a snow man. here is a photo and the snowman that we created "Harry" It was a very long time before we created Harry the snowman we got harry from the 2 dollar shop because he is made out of clay. here is some work from this week it is called B,E,D,M,A,S it stands for Brackets Exponents Divide Multiply Add and Subtract when you do B,E,D,M,A,S you have to do it in that order so you get the answer

Ratio and proportions

On Thursday we did some work about proportions and ratio(A proportion is an equation with a ratio on each side. It is a statement that two ratios are equal. 3/4 = 6/8 is an example of a proportion. When one of the four numbers in a proportion is unknown, cross products may be used to find the unknown number. This is called solving the proportion) I got this from my helpful friend google because I forgot what it was but I hope you enjoy my work

on Thursday i went to room five and we were doing some work on Lady pink she was a good person to learn about in my opinion but her task was to make women powerful 

Move ya body task

here is some work that me and some of my friends have been working on over the past few week me and my group were doing ping pong(Table tennis) on Thursday and when I went on it was a bit scary but then we played some of ping pong(table Tennis) when I played on my second turn I slipped and hit the floor but I acted as it was supposed to happen but then everyone laugh but that was my goal to make everyone laugh
